Our Gentle Hair & Body Wash and Coconut Oil Baby Lotion bottles are now made using Prevented Ocean Plastic™ — recycled plastic collected from coastlines at risk of entering the ocean.

What Is Prevented Ocean Plastic™?

Prevented Ocean Plastic™ is recycled, ocean-bound plastic that is collected from vulnerable coastal areas before it can reach the sea.

Plastic waste is gathered from regions where waste management systems are limited and the risk of ocean pollution is high. It is then:

• Carefully sorted and cleaned

• Recycled into high-quality plastic resin

• Repurposed into new packaging materials

By intercepting plastic before it becomes marine pollution, Prevented Ocean Plastic™ helps reduce plastic waste while keeping valuable materials in circulation.

It’s a proactive approach to tackling the global plastic problem - one bottle at a time.

How Is This Different From PCR Packaging?

We were already using 100% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic in these bottles, meaning they were made from recycled materials rather than virgin plastic.

Switching to Prevented Ocean Plastic™ allows us to go one step further.

Now, the recycled material used in our recyclable baby bottles is specifically sourced from plastic at high risk of entering the ocean. This makes our packaging not only recycled, but intentionally impactful.

It’s an evolution of our commitment to eco-friendly baby products - thoughtful progress rather than dramatic claims.
