Kokoso Nappy Cream

Happy Nappy Cream: Our Key Ingredients Explained

Our customers have been sharing their love of Kokoso Baby Coconut Oil for nappy time for years - so it felt only natural to build our very own nappy cream around it. Happy Nappy Cream combines premium organic coconut oil with a carefully selected blend of skin-loving natural ingredients, chosen to help protect and nourish your little one's delicate nappy area.

Coconut oil

The star of the show. Our cold-pressed organic coconut oil is known for its skin-conditioning properties — helping to soothe and nourish the nappy area while providing a layer of comfort for sensitive skin. It's also deeply moisturising, helping to keep delicate skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Pro-vitamin B5

Pro-vitamin B5, also known as Panthenol, is a popular and well-regarded ingredient in nappy care. When applied to the skin, it helps support the skin's natural moisture barrier and leaves skin feeling hydrated and comfortable - making it a great all-round ingredient for delicate baby skin.

Zinc oxide

Zinc oxide is a well-known ingredient in nappy care, valued for helping to create a physical barrier on the skin that protects the nappy area from moisture and irritants. We use non-nano zinc oxide, meaning the particles are larger than 100nm - so they sit on the surface of the skin rather than penetrating it, making them well-suited to baby's delicate skin. You'll also find zinc oxide in many natural sun creams, where it's used for its protective properties.

Squalane

Plant-based squalane is an ultra-hydrating ingredient, rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, that helps keep skin deeply moisturised, soft and smooth. It occurs naturally in plant oils and is also found in our skin's own sebum - which is why it's such an effective and skin-friendly choice. Often used in high-end face creams, it brings the same nourishing benefits to the nappy area.

Beeswax

Beeswax is a time-honoured skincare ingredient, well known for its emollient, soothing and softening properties. It helps create a gentle protective layer on the skin, locking in moisture and helping to keep the nappy area comfortable and conditioned.

Kokoso Nappy Cream Hygienic Packaging

Easy, Hygienic Packaging

As well as choosing the best natural ingredients, we've designed the packaging with real nappy changes in mind. Happy Nappy Cream comes in a handy press-down pot, perfect for one-handed application — even with a wriggly little one.

Paediatrician Approved for Sensitive Skin

Happy Nappy Cream is specifically formulated with sensitive skin in mind, and the fragrance-free formula is paediatrician approved for use from birth. Whether your little one has generally sensitive skin or simply needs a reliable daily barrier cream, it's a gentle choice you can feel confident about.

Nappy Rash Care Tips

Alongside using a protective nappy cream, a few simple habits can help keep your baby's skin comfortable:

    • Change soiled nappies as soon as possible.
    • Cleanse the nappy area gently but thoroughly at each change.
    • Allow the skin to dry before applying a zinc nappy cream such as Happy Nappy Cream.
    • Apply generously to help protect the skin from moisture and irritants.
    • Allow as much nappy-free time as possible to let the skin breathe.
    • Use an ultra-mild wash such as our fragrance-free Gentle Hair & Body Wash.

If your baby's nappy rash is severe or persistent, please consult your GP or healthcare professional. Remember to patch test any new product on a small area of skin before wider use.
